Obama to Host $35,800-a-Head Fundraiser in Palo Alto

The president plans to attend three fundraisers in the Bay Area including at the Garden Court Hotel.

Got deep pockets for the president? If so, Obama would love for you to join him at Palo Alto’s Garden Court Hotel, where he'll kick off a three-stop Bay Area money sweep.

The event, at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, will focus on support for the Asian-American/Pacific Islander community.

With re-election up for grabs in November, the President is making his way around the Bay Area with three fundraisers in one day, reported the San Jose Mercury News.

After Garden Court, he'll stop for dinner at Lisa and Douglas Goldman’s home in Atherton at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will also cost $35,800. Douglas Goldman is a well-known philanthropist, and also the son of Levi Strauss heirs Richard and Rhoda Goldman, according to the couple’s foundation website.

If you want to support Obama, but don't have a ton of gold, you can attend a rally with him at the too. Tickets start at $250 for general admission, confirmed the Obama campaign.

The grand finale at the Fox starts at 6 p.m. If attendees want a better close-up, premium seating is available for $1,000 or $7,500 for a seat plus a photo reception. Two buddies can tag along as guests at $2,500 each.
