Kick-start your Halloween with Sunday's 19th Annual California Avenue Trick-or-Treat and Blossom Halloween Carnival -- a Palo Alto family favorite event.
The free festivities are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and geared for children up to 12 years of age.
Kids can trick-or-treat at businesses on California Avenue between El Camino Real and Park Boulevard.
A performance by award-winning children's musician Andy Z is planned, along with a costume parade led by the Stanford Band.
Costume contest will be judged by the Mayor of Palo Alto. Click here to sign-up!

The event is organized by Blossom, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization supporting new and expectant families.
