Open Days Program Garden Tour - Palo Alto/Atherton/Portola Valley

Explore four private gardens in Palo Alto, Atherton, and Portola Valley, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. No reservations required; rain or shine. Admission is $5 per garden; children 12 & under free. Begin at The Lincoln Avenue Garden, Palo Alto or see website for additional locations.

Highlights include moderate water use and reasonable maintenance in a garden full of edibles and flowers; a fire pit sheltered by a majestic oak; a garden reminiscent of the English countryside including a boxwood maze and English roses; and curving planting beds of roses, flowering perennials and ornamental grasses among stands of redwoods.
