Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco partners with working families and the community to build affordable ownership homes in Marin, San Francisco and the Peninsula.

Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco is pleased to announce its collaboration with GreenBuild 2012, the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building, as this year’s key nonprofit partner.

With more than 30,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors coming together annually to work in the global green movement, GreenBuild has donated all remaining building materials from the expo to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore located in San Carlos.

All proceeds from the sale of these high-quality building materials will help fund Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide decent, affordable housing to low-income families in San Francisco, Marin and the Peninsula.

“We are honored to partner with GreenBuild 2012 to divert building materials to our store so that they do not end up as waste in the land fill,” said Phillip Kilbridge, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco. “All proceeds from the Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco ReStore are used to build new homes which in turn help low-income families in the Bay Area reach their dreams of homeownership.”
