Palo Alto, the city reputed for wealth and education, took first place among "The 10 Snobbiest Small Cities In America."
The rankings -- see the full story here -- were put together by Movoto Real Estate. The company used medial home price, median income and percentage of people with college degrees.
Also in the Top Ten from California: San Rafael was No. 4; Walnut Creek No. 5; Encinitas tied with a Maryland town at No. 8; and Laguna Niguel was No. 10.
