Palo Alto Medical Foundation Announces Developer Challenge 2014

We are inviting developers nationwide to participate in the Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s Developer Challenge 2014, focused on leveraging the rich data available in the PAMF Innovation Center’s linkAges program, which tackles one of healthcare’s most impending challenges: how to provide health, wellbeing and community to an aging population.

The Challenge kicked-off on June 11 with the deadline for submissions on September 8. Developers should register their interest here if they would like to participate, either individually or in teams. 

Those with the following skills are especially encouraged to apply: Data analysts, Data visualizers, Programmers, User interaction (UI) and User experience (UX) designers and developers.

Upcoming on June 25 will be a briefing webinar, followed by a deep-dive face-to-face workshop in Sunnyvale, at the heart of Silicon Valley, on July 1.

Cash prizes will be offered for individuals and teams judged to be in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

·       First $10,000

·       Second $5,000

·       Third $1,000 

In addition, if the winner is a team with the potential to further develop and deploy their solution, they will be given the opportunity to work in the IC Accelerator for six months.
