- Thanksgiving Academic Camps. Communication Academy.
- Girls Softball - Sign ups. Throughout the week. Mountain View - Los Altos Girls Softball is a softball league open to girls who are 5-16 years old.
- Thanksgiving Dinner. Little House, 800 Middle Avenue, Menlo Park.
- Teen Tech Tutoring. Downtown Library. For older adults, teens will answer tech questions. By appointment. 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- Ayurveda & Your Family. Cupertino Center for Yoga and Meditation, 10601 S DeAnza Blvd. Ayurveda is one of the oldest holistic healing system which is becoming popular today.
- Thanksgiving Service, all welcome! First Church, Christ Scientist, 3045 Cowper Street, Palo Alto. 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome to service with readings, expressions of gratitude, and accounts of healing.

- Holiday Tree Lighting and Mini Snowman Contest. Lytton Plaza. 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Scout's Fund Holiday Gathering - A Season of Comfort.holiday gathering to benefit animals in need of rehab therapy at the Peninsula Humane Society. Burlingame.
- Pictures with Santa- Pet Night! 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Stanford Shopping Center.
- Foothills Park Workday. Palo Alto. Volunteers of all ages welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver; children under 12 require an accompanying adult.
- Kids & Teens Writing Contest. All day event. For kids grades 2-5 and teens grades 6-12. Winning essays will be published on the Library's website, as well as the website of the Palo Alto Historical Association.
