Former Bay Area resident Janet Sinclair is waging a battle against United Airlines claiming the company's PetSafe program rendered her dog nearly dead after a cross-country flight in July.
With her Facebook page -- United Airlines Almost Killed My Greyhound -- Sinclair, a former Pleasanton resident, is taking her story public.
Sinclair asserts the airline agreed to cover her $2,700 vet bill -- if she signs a confidentiality agreement and remains mum on the incident -- which she is not.
A news segment on Sinclair and her racetrack-rescued greyhound, Sedona, airs tonight on NBC Bay Area.
