Architecture Film Series in Los Altos
The three-part FILM + conversation series begins April 12 and continues on May 10 and June 14. The 2nd annual series features 3 documentaries on modern architecture and conversation with the filmmakers. The series is a fundraiser benefitting the Los Altos Neutra House, a designated fund of the Los Altos Community Foundation.
April 12: Beautiful Simplicity: Arts & Crafts Architectue in Southern California showcases the best-known structures by the leading architects of this movement as well as footage of homes not open to the public.
May 10: People in Glass Houses: The Legacy of Joseph Eichler is a new film that will bring back memories for long time area residents and introduce newcomers to the hallmark of "California Mid-Centiry Modern".

June 14: Eames: The Architect and the Painter has been shown on TV, but our screening gives the audience a rare chance to talk with the filmmaker about the remarkable husband-and-wife design team, Charles and Ray Eames.
