Green Halloween at Live Greene in Palo Alto

Green Halloween® Palo Alto 2011 A Free Eco Friendly Event! Sponsored by Greennii & LiveGreene

Green Halloween® Palo Alto will feature a costume exchange, an eco fashion show, and complimentary organic food and drink. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.

Greennii, a cutting edge sustainability consulting company and web resource, and LiveGreene, the Peninsula’s only eco friendly general store, are proud to announce the second annual Green Halloween Palo Alto, scheduled for October 6, 2011 at the LiveGreene store in Palo Alto, CA. The event, which is expected to attract between 250-300 guests, is being held in partnership with Green Halloween® in an effort to promote eco friendly and healthy alternatives to traditional Halloween practices.

Green Halloween Palo Alto will feature a costume exchange, an eco fashion show, and complimentary food and drink including organic candy, sustainable hors d’oeuvres, and biodynamic wines. As the event’s aim is to raise awareness within the Palo Alto and surrounding communities of sustainable Halloween practices, admission to the event is free and all age groups and backgrounds are welcome.

In addition to a lively program of activities and entertainment, Green Halloween Palo Alto will feature clearly posted tips on how Halloween celebrations can be more eco friendly, ranging from non-toxic face paint and makeup recipes to recycled costume ideas. The tips will be available to download post-event on greennii.com and livegreene.com.

Greennii.com & Livegreene.com are dedicated to promoting local and earth-friendly choices, and our partnership with Green Halloween serves this mission. Our goal this Halloween is to educate parents and children about fun alternatives that are good for you and in line with our environmental stewardship practices.

Attendees are encouraged to use the event as an opportunity to find their 2011 Halloween costumes. To participate in the costume exchange, event-goers must simply bring their gently used adult and kid costumes to the venue on the evening of October 6th.
