Sharks, Bats, Gizmos and More at the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo!

At the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo children are encouraged to think, create and play. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday and is free for all! Come check out some of the ongoing exhibits: 

With "Gizmos and Gadgets,'' kids can explore simple machines and see how they make hard work easier. Lift up someone bigger than you or test your strength in this hands-on exhibit. This exhibit is located the main exhibit hall. 

In the Shark Exhibit you'll see the newest additions to the zoo, two baby swell sharks and two leopard sharks in the new 500 gallon salt water tank, which houses other fish from the Bay and open ocean.

"Bat Habitat" is home to three African fruit bats and three new Egyptian fruit bats.
