Sinfonia of the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra to Perform the First Concert of the 46th Season

Under the direction of PACO music director Benjamin Simon, PACO's Sinfonia Orchestra will present the first concert of the season with a program of emotive and uplifting works in a friendly environment on Sunday, November 13, at 3:00PM at Cubberley Theatre in Palo Alto.  The concert will proudly feature PACO’s 2010 Concerto Competition Winners, violinist Angela Thé and violist Tessera Chin, performing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major for Violin and Viola, K. 364.  The program will also present baroque favorite Concerto Grosso, Op. 6 #1 in. and contemporary master Graham Fitkin’s drivingly postminimalist Servant for Strings (1998).  The concert will also include chamber music repertory performed by small ensembles of Sinfonia members. This concert will be held at Cubberley Theatre, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, 94303. Free Admission.
