Famed Violinist to Perform at Oshman Family JCC

When she was just four-years-old, Sarah Chang picked up the violin for the first time. Just four years later she debuted with the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Two years later, she released her first album.
From child prodigy, Chang has matured into a virtuoso displaying musical insight and emotional range.

Chang will perform at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto on March 11, one of three Bay Area appearances on her world tour. Tickets may be purchased by phone, 415-392-4400, or online.
Accompanied by Ashley Wass on piano, Chang will perform: PAGANINI Cantabile in D Major, MS 109, VITALEChaconne in G minor, BERNSTEINWest Side Story Suite (arr. Newman) and PROKOFIEV Sonata No. 2 in D Major, Op. 94a.
