Media Center's Sportscaster Camp on CBS 5 Thursday Morning

No, it's not a foul ball coming your way, but if it had been the kids of the Palo Alto Media Center's Summer Sportscaster Camp would have caught you making that spectacular catch.

Catch them on CBS 5 Thursday morning when the station airs a segment about the camp, which provides hands on training for the budding television broadcasters who learn how to use cameras and direct their own show. They build skills and teamwork, according to a media center contact.

A total of 22 high school and middle school kids participated in the program and as volunteers covered 19 sports games under the production supervision of sports director Chuck Alley.
