DoorDash Is Hiring -- And Employees Eat For Free!

Start-up growing its logistics side, while delivering fine food right to doorsteps in Mountain View and Palo Alto.

DoorDash, a meal-delivery start-up earning raves in Palo Alto and Mountain View, is hiring engineers, sales and customer service staff, plus delivery drivers, with a giant perk -- lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks are free!

Launched in early 2013 by four tech-savvy Stanford University students, DoorDash is a logistics-focused outfit that delivers food from such restaurants as Palo Alto Grill, Coconuts Caribbean Restaurant & Bar, Blue Line Pizza and La Fountaine right to the doors of residents for a $6 fee.

DoorDash, self-described as "a technology company that is building the next generation of local delivery," is working to expand its logistics software and delivery capabilities. 

Current job openings listed on the Palo Alto-based company's web site are: Perks, along with the free eats, include health coverage, flexible hours and free on-demand magic tricks, as one DoorDash engineer is reportedly learning to be a magician, according to the company page.
