During Prohibition, Francis Ford Coppola’s grandfather, Agostino Coppola, would have grapes shipped in from California and he would make homemade wine in the basement of his New York apartment.

In 1975, Francis and Eleanor Coppola purchased 1,560 acres of the Inglenook Estate, including the Niebaum residence, and began making wine in a 19th century carriage house on the Napa property.

Today, their wines continue to reflect the comfort of home.
