Google Continues Palo Alto Real Estate Push

The Mountain View-based Internet behemoth's recent Palo Alto land purchases points to a move to reestablish its footprint in the city it launched from in 1999.

Google continued its Palo Alto parcel shopping spree with the purchase of another multi-million dollar land purchase.

The Mountain View-based Internet behemoth purchased a 22,300-square-foot office building on 1010 Corporate Way for $9.475 million, the Silicon Valley Business Journal reports.

The most recent deal follows the purchase of a 200,000-square-foot parcel near East Meadow Circle over the summer, the report said.

The Corporate Way structure sold in December for $5.46 million, illustrating how hot the Palo Alto real estate market is these days.
