Mi Pueblo Hires Military Veterans to Aid Reintegration

The neighborhood grocery store will beef up its presence at military job fairs.

With Fourth of July but hours away, Mi Pueblo Food Center, Northern California’s leading neighborhood grocery retailer, is reaching out to military veterans to join the Mi Pueblo workforce. 

Mi Pueblo has 21 locations in Northern California, including one on East Bayshore Road in East Palo Alto.

"The company will launch recruiting efforts with upcoming veteran job fairs and veteran recruitment days at Mi Pueblo’s corporate headquarters," the company said in a press release.

In an effort "to demonstrate respect and gratitude to members of our armed forces who so selflessly risk their lives to protect our nation and our allies, as well as to strengthen the company with skilled, dedicated team members," Mi Pueblo is attempting to increase the number of veterans on its payroll. 

Mi Pueblo is using this hiring tool to help veterans reintegrate into civilian life.
