New Bike Racks at Mollie Stone's Market

Running errands on your bike just got easier and more secure on California Avenue.

"As more Palo Alto residents get around on their bikes, it's vital that we have the infrastructure in place to support them." Sounds reasonable. Mollie Stone's Market co-owner David Bennett explains his reasoning for installing new bike racks to accomodate 28 bicycles.

Bicycle traffic on California Avenue has become crazy-busy, so Mollie Stone's is addressing the need for security as bicyclists shop.

"We wanted to make sure that we had the ideal setup," said Bennett. "We're very excited to offer these additional racks to our Palo Alto community."

The new bike racks get the seal of approval from Adina Levin, a member of the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition Palo Alto Team,"We're delighted to see the new bike racks at Mollie Stone's, and to see customers using them immediately. Many people in this area prefer to shop by bike, and it's great to see Mollie Stone's step forward to support cycling customers."
