Off the top of your head, can you list all ten billionaires in Palo Alto? Here's what Forbes tells us about the billionaires amongst us.


Forbes magazine released its annual list of the richest people on the planet this week. The rankings include a who's-who of tech titans who call Palo Alto home.

We have an astounding ten billionaires on the list.  The source of their wealth reads like a directory of tech companies--Google, Facebook, Yahoo and LinkedIn, to name a few. And then there's the Stanford professor who stroked a check for two students who had a great idea. David Cheriton recognized the brilliance of Larry Page and Sergey Brin's idea. Google made him rich beyond his wildest dreams.

Investing in Silicon Valley real estate when it was still called the Santa Clara Valley landed Richard Peery on the list.
