Patxi's Pizza Makes 'Fastest Growing Food & Beverage Business' List

Mmmm...there's just something about a good slice of pizza and apparently, we're not alone in this sentiment.

Patxi's Pizza, which opened in Palo Alto in 2004, has been named one of the 5,000 "Fastest Growing Food & Beverage Businesses" by INC. Magazine; number 24 to be exact. Its place on the list in 2013 is up from the company's No. 32 ranking in 2012. That's a whole lot of deep-dish pizza-eating enthusiasts helping launch the pizzeria high up on that list.

"Patxi’s Pizza is once again excited to be a part of such a legendary list," Patxi’s Pizza CEO William Freeman said in a release. "We have been working hard to grow our business and have been extremely well received in our newest markets in Denver and San Jose. 

"Our fresh, authentic pizza seems to speak for itself and we are looking forward to bringing it to even more new customers—we have expansion plans for Seattle and Southern California,” Freeman said.

Patxi’s Pizza currently owns and operates nine locations in the Bay Area and two in Denver, the release said.

Along with this recent list, Patxi's has also made it on Esquire Magazine's "Eat Like a Man-Life Changing Pizzeria" in the country list as well as a mention in Forbes' Better Pizza: 13 Tasty New Chains to Try.
