Study: Palo Alto 4th Best City in California for Job Seekers

Five of the Top 10 are in the Bay Area.

If you’ve thought about changing jobs, you’re in the right place. According to NerdWallet, Palo Alto is the 4th best city in the state for job seekers.

The study focused on three factors:

  • Is the city growing?
  • Can you afford to live in the city comfortably?
  • Are most people employed?

NerdWallet was glowing in its praise of Palo Alto: “Is there another city that more exemplifies the greatness of Silicon Valley? The weather is perfect, the people are beautiful, and all the kids are above average. There is a lot to love about Palo Alto.”

The consumer advocacy website noted the high cost of housing but said that it was offset by high salaries.
