Zuckerberg Tops Guardian's Media Power List

Facebook founder the most powerful in media, says UK's Guardian.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has topped the list of the most powerful media players in the UK, according to the Guardian's MediaGuardian 100 list.

Just four years ago, Facebook made its first appearance on the list—in last place.

"Social networks come and go," says the Guardian's site. "Only time will tell if this latest example is fab or fad."

Today, Facebook is the world's most popular website, with revenues expected to double this year to $4 billion over last year, according to the Guardian.

Arianna Huffington, who sold Huffington Post to Patch-owner AOL this year, also made the list, at number 80.
