Hassett Hardware offering delivery service for Christmas Trees Hardware

Hassett ACE Hardware to offer home delivery of Christmas trees to local communities for the first time.Hassett Ace Hardware recently partnered with Five Star Christmas Tree Company to offer area residents delivery of freshly cut Fraser Fir Christmas trees. Part of the proceeds from sales will benefit local nonprofit, Ecumenical Hunger Program.Ace is excited about the opportunity to save our customers time and offer a superior product. Most trees found on lots are cut weeks prior to being sold. Five Star trees are cut within a few days of delivery, so customers get the freshest, most fragrant, lush tree possible. The trees are among the top 5% of trees taken from the tree farms.“One of our store managers swore she would always cut down her own tree, but after seeing how pretty the sample tree from Five Star is, she decided to get one for herself,” said Jocelyn Lovelle, Brand Manager for all four Bay Area Hassett ACE Hardware stores.“With Five Star, customers won’t have to drive to a lot to pick up a tree, cut down their own tree, or worry about cleaning up pine needles or sap off of their cars,” said Lovelle.Tree prices start at $59 and include free delivery in the surrounding area. To get a tree, customers purchase a voucher from Hassett ACE hardware, and then call ACE’s delivery partner to set up front-door drop off service. The delivery crews will put a fresh cut at the base of trees when they arrive. “Not only can we offer lovely, conveniently delivered trees, but our customers can also feel great knowing they are helping raise money to end hunger in our backyard,” Lovelle stated. About Ecumenical Hunger ProgramThe Ecumenical Hunger Program (EHP), a 38 year old, private, non-profit, community-based organization located in East Palo Alto provides emergency food, clothing, case management, and household essentials to families in need in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto.
