Palliative Care Center Silicon Valley is now open and accepting patients!

Center offers expert medical care and extra layer of support to patients and caregivers

On Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 over 50 community leaders, funders, and supporters of Hospice of the Valley joined San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed for a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to mark the Palliative Care Center’s opening.

A new medical facility in San Jose is now open and accepting patients to specifically focus on these often overlooked areas of medical care. The Palliative Care Center Silicon Valley™ is located at 455 O’Connor Drive, Suite 300, in San Jose – it is the first independent, community-based, licensed outpatient palliative care center of its kind in California. The center is a division of Hospice of the Valley, a leading non-profit provider of palliative and hospice care, community grief support and education.
