Home for the Holidays Adoption Special: $12 for Any Adult Animal!

Well it’s that time again, time for families to get together, sing songs, and give gifts. But wait! Something’s missing... something furry… I KNOW! A pet to complete your family!

SheltersFirst.org is a coalition of sixSouth Bay animal shelters aimed on finding homes for all the homeless pets currently in shelters, and reminding people to think of shelters first when looking for a new pet.

All six shelters, including Palo Alto Animal Services, are offering a special $12 adoption fee for all animals over 6 months of age (normal $125 fee applies for puppies and kittens under 6 months of age.) Of course, donations are accepted over the $12 fee, but this is a great opportunity to bring home a new member of the family, save some cash, and help a pet in need. Win win win.
