Pet of the Week: "Eleanor"

Eleanor has been awaiting adoption since October of 2012!

I know, I know. It has been a while since I have written a blog post featuring an adoptable animal from my shelter, Palo Alto Animal Services. The past few weeks/months at the shelter have been trying. Dealing with a decrease in staffing levels, while running busy adoption promotions to find homes for the 40+ animals we were caring for back in December.

Things at the shelter have leveled off -- for the moment -- so here is the first ‘Pet of the Week’ of the New Year: “Eleanor”

Eleanor is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair cat who has been at the shelter since early October. She was very timid when she first was found in a field in Palo Alto, but has since gained confidence and would make a great addition to your household. Eleanor has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We recommend her for an indoor, adult only home. If you are interested in meeting Eleanor, please stop by Palo Alto Animals Services at 3281 E. Bayshore Rd, Palo Alto. Or call us at 650-496-5971!
