He was adopted from us about two months ago and returned on August 15th because he and their other dog, while they got along, they never really became friends so he was reluctantly returned.

According to his first owner he is definitely housebroken.  That said, please realize that any dog going into a new home must be retrained as if he were a very young puppy.  It takes two or three weeks of consistency and he’ll be housebroken in your home as well.  He is very attentive to people, has lots of energy but calms down quickly, is easy to handle and wants to be petted.  We think he’d do well with another dog if it was a female, or he’d enjoy being the only dog.

We are recommending him for a family looking to own their first dog, and would do well with children as young as eight years of age, and older.  If you’d like to meet him please come to the shelter. 3281 E. Bayshore Rd. Palo Alto 650-496-5971
