Up For Adoption: 'Red'

·       weighs 10 pounds
·       Microchipped
·       Approximately 2 years old

He was found stray on September 9th in the company of another dog.  He was subsequently adopted by a family and returned on October 3rd because of a mild skin condition and they felt he smelled.  Our medical staff has examined and treated Red for a mild dermatitis, which has been cured.

Red is a great little dog with plenty of energy!  He needs socializing and training but we feel your efforts would be rewarded.  Canine Good Citizen classes would be perfect for him, and we’ll provide you a list of where these classes are held in the area. 

We are recommending him for owners with prior dog owning experience, and children 12 years of age and older.  If you’d like to meet Red please come to Palo Alto Animal Services.
