Best Of Patch: Italian Restaurants

You decide: Where is the best Italian Restaurant in Palo Alto?

Palo Alto Patch today kicks off its first ever Best of Patch series.

Each week, our readers will have a chance to vote for their favorite businesses and service providers in a number of fun categories.

Every week we'll post a poll asking users to vote on their favorite. Readers can add a comment and review the business on its Palo Alto Patch Places page.

Then, on Friday, check back for the results. Winning businesses will get a cool Best of Patch certificate.

(Because our poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.)

This week, we want you to vote for your favorite Italian restaurant—the one that captures the essence of an authentic Italian meal, just like Nonna used to make.

Who cooks the best al dente spaghetti? Who uses the freshest mozzarella on pizza?

Here are some of our favorite places in Palo Alto, but if we have left one off the list, please let us know in the comments and we will add it.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

So tell us which Italian restaurant is the best in Palo Alto, and don't forget to explain why in the comments below.
