Big Donation for East Palo Alto Program

The donation will provide both academic tutoring and athletic instruction.

The East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring program got a boost last week when it received a $21,000 grant from Esurance’s “Game Changer” program, a summer-long campaign in which the public voted for two charities to receive a grant from USTA Serves.

East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring has helped 1,500 at-risk students over the past 25 years. It combines academic tutoring and tennis instruction.

2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and World No.1 Doubles Player Mike Bryan was on hand for the presentation of the grant last Friday.
