Climate Change Rally Set in Palo Alto
Organizers at the noon rally plan to thank Palo Alto Congresswoman for her support of climate change policies.
A noon rally by volunteers from Organizing for Action to acknowledge climate change support by Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (D-Calif.) is planned for Wednesday, May 29 at Lytton Plaza in Palo Alto.
Eshoo represents the 18th Congressional District which includes Palo Alto.
Rally organizers want to thank Eshoo for her support on climate change policies and to ask her to press the issue with her colleagues on Capitol Hill.
Citing recent studies that suggest 97 percent of scientists agree that man-made climate change is a reality, OFA members are dedicated to bringing the issue to the national forefront.
The OFA is a non-profit, non-partisan volunteer organization. In addition to climate change, it focuses on advancing numerous other national issues including job creation, gun violence prevention, strengthening the middle class and comprehensive immigration reform.
