Facebook Going Public Is 'Inevitable'

Facebook could go public by April 2012 or earlier, Sheryl Sandberg says today.

Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg called the eventual public offering of Facebook shares "inevitable" Thursday at the Reuters Global Technology Summit, according to TechCrunch. 

The social network, which for years has surprised users by refusing to sell, could go public by April 2012.
