Fog Advisory Issued for Bay Area

Drivers encouraged to exercise caution.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for the Bay Area Monday morning.

Areas of heavy fog have reduced visibility to less than a quarter of a mile in some locations, according to the weather service, which could continue throughout the morning.

The advisory will remain in effect until 10 a.m., after which conditions in most areas are expected to gradually improve.
