3. VIETNAMESE SPRING FESTIVAL PARADE

Where/When: 1 S. Market St in San Jose, Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Celebrate the Vietnamese Year of the Cat with arts and crafts, live music, cultural performances, martial arts, children’s games and tradtional Vietnamese food.

4. 'IN A NEW YORK MINUTE' EXHIBIT

Where/When: Cantor Arts Center at 328 Lomita Drive at Stanford, Wednesday-Sunday, 11a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Get a glimpse of New York through this 55-photograph exhibit by Helen Levitt, who calls them some of the most important images of her career.

5. MEET THE BREWERS 2011

Where/When: Tied House/Hermitage Brewing Company at 1627 S. 7th Street in San Jose, Saturday, 12 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: This year's theme is Food Truck the Brewers, so savor a Gordon Biersch while chowing down on BBQ Kalbi or The Louisiana Territory.
