4. 'IN A NEW YORK MINUTE' EXHIBIT

Where/When:  at 328 Lomita Dr. at Stanford, Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Get a glimpse of New York through this 55-photograph exhibit by Helen Levitt, who calls them some of the most important images of her career.

5. PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Where/When: Trinity Church Parish Hall at 330 Ravenswood Ave. in Menlo Park, Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon.

Why Go: Who doesn't love pancakes? Support the Menlo Park/Atherton Boy Scout Troop 206 by getting breakfast out!

Pricing: $5 for adults or two children 10 and under
