Palo Alto Realtor Named Top In Nation By Wall Street Journal
Ken DeLeon had more sales than any other realtor in the United States in 2011
Palo Alto realtor Ken DeLeon of DeLeon Realty was named the top real estate agent in the United States based off transaction volume in the Real Trends Inc. and Wall Street Journal’s annual list of the top real estate professionals.
DeLeon’s total sales, almost $275 million, was about $20 million more than the second place realtor. He entered the real estate industry just nine years ago. Before that DeLeon, still in his thirties, worked as a lawyer.
Many of DeLeon's clients are Silicon Valley venture capitalists, Stanford professors, entrepreneurs and CEOs. DeLeon uses statistical data and analysis to present a detailed marketing plan for each home, according to DeLeon.com.
