3. For the niños

Children's Library

Yes, we know--Cinco de Mayo is May 5. But if you're looking to celebrate with the kids, do it a day early at the Children's Library of Palo Alto. 4. Latin Rock All-Stars

Malo 40th Anniversary

Legendary Latin rock band Malo will celebrate Cinco de Mayo and its 40th anniversary Friday, May 6, at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City. Enjoy favorites such as their 1972 hit single, "Suavecito," still called the "ultimate Hispanic love song." Show also features LAVA (Santana and War cover band) and The Return of Blanca. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets: $20 advance, $25 at door. Find it at 2223 Broaday Street in Redwood City.

Come to SkinSpirit's Open House, where you will learn about their anti-aging skin care treatments, such as BOTOX, ActiveFX and VelaShape. Bring a friend and get $50.00 off your next treatment. May 5, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. R.S.V.P. for the event on their website. Find it at 701 Emerson Street in Palo Alto.
