Stanford's Condoleezza Rice Joins CBS

Bob Schieffer made the announcement Sunday morning on Face the Nation.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice already has a full plate. She’s a professor of Political Economy for Stanford’s Graduate School of Business; a Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution; a professor of Political Science at Stanford University; and a founding partner of RiceHadleyGates.

Somehow, she’s found the time to take on new duties, as Bob Schieffer, host of Face the Nation, announced on the air Sunday morning, “Everybody knows Condoleezza Rice was President Bush's Secretary of State, but I am very pleased to announce she has a new job. As of today, she is joining CBS News as a contributor.”

Rice was a guest on the program.
