11:30am – 2:00pm – El Super Taco Man (Food Truck Friday)

4:00pm – 11:00pm – El Super Taco Man, Gold Rush Eatery & Mogo (Beer Friday)

El Super Taco Man [website]

It’s the food truck with burritos the size of your head and one of the best logos we’ve seen so far. From their website:

“We are family owned and here to provide you with the best Mexican and Latin cuisine.

Our Goals:

  • Satisfying and delighting our customers
  • Providing only the freshest and tastiest food
  • Helping our communities
  • Making everybody feel happy when enjoying our food
  • Making your event an UNFORGETTABLE one.”

Gold Rush Eatery [website]

Serving gourmet burgers, specialty sandwiches and comfort food to the greater south bay.

From SanJose.com: “The burgers deliver an extra kick thanks to the Gold Rush Burger Sauce. The special formula was based on a sauce used at Linda’s Drive-In Restaurant, a diner in Mountain View in the 1950s. The Gold Rush Burger, Frontier Burger and root beer float are all popular choices. Tater Tots are served as an alternative to fries.”

Mogo BBQ [website]

From their website:

“A Korean-Mexican fusion concept where the Mexican burrito/taco/quesadilla meets the Korean Short-rib/spicy pork/kimchi fried rice,
all of our recipes have all been created in-house. Our name “Mogo”
translates into the Korean word “to eat”. We love FOOD and We love
PEOPLE…

We are one of the original gourmet food trucks that started in Northern California. Born and Raised in the Silicon Valley area, we are truly a start-up company that has created our own food, culture and following.

Special Release!

Our “Belle – Cherry Lambic 2013 Barrel Aged” special release has been bottled and is ready to go home with you. We will have a limited number available for sale at Beer Friday.

“A bottle-conditioned Lambic aged for 6 months in a combination of 10 Bourbon and 2 Cabernet barrels – each imbued with farm-fresh California cherries – and blended to create this unique 2013 release.”

If you loved it on draught, wait until you try it in the cork and crown, 750ml bottle!

The Bands

6-8pm – Pacific Vibrations

Pacific Vibrations’ new record “Irie Feeling” is the long awaited third release of the band.

This time California born Kerry Wing and Hawaiian born Randy Nakamura collaborate to bring an “Irie Feeling” of island/Cali style reggae, rock, folk and soul.

Pacific Vibrations has shared the stage with the likes of Burning Spear, Steel Pulse, and Mikey Dread to name a few. The band is currently performing live as an acoustic ensemble.

8:30-11pm - Go Van Gogh

Go Van Gogh plays hot, fast, and loose with an ocean liners worth of musical flavors. Led by sax virtuoso Connie Walkershaw, and bass playing showman Jesse Walkershaw, Go Van Gogh takes classic Americana, mixes it with Ethiopian melodies, Afro Cuban rhythms, Bakersfield twang, Balkan brass, and whatever falls to hand

Based out of San Francisco, this bay area bands primary focus is on live performance.
The heady feedback loop of player-group-listener/dancer is what fuels
the collective Go Van Gogh soul. The Walkershaws keep it fresh, with an evolving river of original compositions, to keep the crowd dancing, and the players reaching forward.
