Aurora Light Show and Unveiling Extravaganza

King Plaza at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto,
CA 94301

This free, family-friendly event is the culmination of a
two-year effort by PA school children to install Aurora, a
life-size tree sculpture with thousands of LED lights, in King
Plaza at City Hall in downtown Palo Alto.  Make a leaf that
goes on the tree, meet the Artist and the Mayor, and enjoy the
festivities!  Hamilton Avenue will be closed for this event,
which begins with leaf-making at 3:00.  The lighting ceremony
begins at 5:00.

Kids and grown-ups can
volunteer and help with the event by contacting Harry
Hirschman at 650-619-5108 or harry@hirschman.com.  We need ushers, wranglers, and
barkers!  Learn more about Aurora from this video http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/aurora/aurora-palo-alto
