Green@Home Volunteer Training

Worried about Climate Change?

Join Acterra's Green@Home volunteers as we combat our local Carbon Footprint one home at a time! Acterra's Green@Home trains volunteers to become Energy Experts and perform free energy-saving HouseCalls for residents in Cupertino and Palo Alto. We will teach you to provide basic energy assessments and install free energy-saving devices, such as:

·       retractable clotheslines

·       weatherstripping

·       low-flow showerheads and aerators

The training consists of two, 4-hour classes: November 14 & 28.

Each HouseCall is approximately 2 hours long and volunteers work in pairs. We ask those who complete the training to volunteer for approximately two HouseCalls a month with a minimum of 10 HouseCalls over the course of the year. You must be over 18 to participate.

We look forward to seeing you there!
