Dr. Nalini Ambady, a Palo Alto mom, and Stanford professor, is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant as a result of a relapse of her leukemia. Unfortunately, the pool of South Asian donors is relatively small, making the likelihood of finding a match slim.
If you are Asian or South Asian and between 18 and 44, please strongly consider registering to become a possible donor. You could save a life!
