Christmas at Cesar Chavez Academy

Moms Agaist Poverty hosts a Christmas dinner for an expected crowd of over 300 students and their families in the gym of the Cesar Chavez Academy. Santa Claus, Central County fire fighters and East Palo Alto police officers will be on hand to greet the children and their families and to hand out gifts.

Of the 800 kindergarten to middle school children at Cesar Chavez, 90 percent of them live below the poverty line.
