I'm Meatloaf -- Do You Love Me?

Will you love me forever? Do you need me? Will you never leave me? I'm a "Home for the Holidays" adoptee.

Meatloaf is a white and black American Staffordshire Terrier mix available for adoption for just $12 at Palo Alto Animal Services as part of its annual "Home for the Holidays" program.

He is neutered, about 6 months old, and has been at the shelter since Nov. 17, 2013.

Palo Alto Animal Services is among six shelters in Santa Clara County that hope to find homes for some 1,300 animals and are offering $12 adoption fees -- down from $90 to $120  -- for any adult cat or dog through Dec. 31.

The $12 fee covers all benefits such as spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation and registration, vaccinations, defleaing and deworming and FIV/FeLV testing for cats.
