I'm Toby - I'd Be Cute on Your Christmas Card!

My age is a mystery, but I'm just $12 at Palo Alto Animal Services as part of the "Home for the Holidays" promotion.

Toby, a white and gray Maltese mix, is available for adoption for just $12 at Palo Alto Animal Services as part of its annual "Home for the Holidays" program.

Toby is neutered, his age is unknown and he has been at the shelter since Dec. 11.

Palo Alto Animal Services is among six shelters in Santa Clara County that hope to find homes for some 1,300 animals and are offering $12 adoption fees -- down from $90 to $120  -- for any adult cat or dog through Dec. 31.

The $12 fee covers all benefits such as spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation and registration, vaccinations, defleaing and deworming and FIV/FeLV testing for cats.
