Electric Vehicles Galore at Annual Rally

The Silicon Valley Electric Auto Association put on its 39th annual Electric Car Rally on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Fifty company-manufactured, handmade and converted electric vehicles were displayed at Palo Alto High School on Saturday during the 39th Electric Car Rally, hosted by the Silicon Valley Electric Auto Association.

Visitors walked by the near-silent vehicles to admire and converse about what it takes to build—or buy—an electric vehicle. They even had the opportunity to take the cars, which ranged from postal vans to buggies, out for a spin.
