Palo Alto Woman Marching to Raise Awareness About Endometriosis

Some of your neighbors need your help. Here's how you can be there for them.

For those in a charitable holiday mood today, we highlight some local people that are asking for help, like Marsha Marie, a Palo Alto woman who is among volunteers chosen to go to Washington, D.C. for a march to raise awareness about endometriosis.

Marie's goal is $10,0000. She plans to go to the nation's capitol March 13 for the Million Women March for Endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a condition affecting 1 in 10 women and can  include painful periods, painful ovulation, pain during or after sexual intercourse, abnormal bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, fatigue and infertility.
