12-Year-Old Boy Shot in East Palo Alto
East Palo Alto Police are investigating the shooting of a 12-year-old boy on Cooley Avenue Thursday night. He is in critical condition but is expected to survive.
A 12-year-old boy was injured in a shooting in East Palo Alto Thursday evening, police said.
East Palo Alto police responded to a report of a shooting on the 1900 block of Cooley Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. Officers discovered the 12-year-old victim there suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Stanford Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not yet determined a motive or identified any suspects in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the East Palo Alto Police at 650-853-3160.
