Crime Log: French Horn Missing, A Set of Keys Found

Brief updates on crimes that occurred in Palo Alto from Sept. 20-25.

 

The following is a summary of significant crime and incidents reported in Palo Alto between Sept. 20 and Sept. 25 as released by the Palo Alto Police Department

THURSDAY, SEPT. 20

A French Horn was reported lost on California Ave. just after 1 a.m.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 22

A subject exhibiting bizarre behavior on the 2200 block of El Camino Real was transported to Stanford Hospital at about 12:20 a.m.

A suspect entered a store on the 700 block of Emerson and tried to pass a check with non-sufficient funds just after 2 p.m.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 23

A 21-year-old woman was cited for petty theft on the 100 block of the El Camino Real at about 4:20 p.m.

MONDAY, SEPT. 24

A 35-year-old man was cited for a traffic infraction in a non-injury accident on Embarcadero Road near E. Bayshore and driving with a suspended license at roughly 9:50 a.m.

A 26-year-old man was cited for driving with a suspended license on the 400 block of High Street at about 4:15 p.m.

A 49-year-old man was booked into the main jail for an outside warrant and cited for driving with a suspended license at about 9 a.m. on Middlefield Road near Loma Verde.

A 36-year-old woman was cited for possessing drug paraphenlia and issued a warrant to appear in court at about 9 a.m. on Middlefield Road near Loma Verde.

A 49-year-old man was booked into the main jail for an outside warrant just before 6 a.m.

A subject was cited for driving without a driver's license on the 200 block of Hamilton at about 5 p.m.

Credit Card Fraud was reported on the 2800 block of Middlefield Road at about 4:20 p.m.

Boxes were reported stolen from a house's porch on the 1500 block of Dana Ave. just before 6:30 p.m.

A set of keys were found on the 600 block of Hamilton Ave. just before 7 p.m.

An accident involving property damage was reported on Arascadero Road near El Camino Real at about 10:40 a.m.

Items were reported stolen from an office on the 100 block of El Camino Real by an unknown suspect at roughly 9:30 p.m.

An attempted burglary was reported on the 3800 block of El Camino just before midnight.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 25

A 28-year-old man was cited for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest on the 100 block of University in East Palo Alto at about 1:40 a.m.

A subject was transported to the Veteran's Hospital on a 72-hour hold and cited on an outside warrant at Arascadero near El Camino at about 12:30 a.m.

A wallet was reported stolen on the 2500 block of the El Camino Real at about 2:30 p.m.

Suspects attempted to break into a locked vechile on the 3300 block of Hillview Ave. at about 2 p.m.

A 25-year-old man was booked into the main jail for interfering with a police officer on the El Camino Real near Lambert and cited for an outside warrant.

A bicycle was stolen from the 400 block of Grant Ave. at roughly 10 a.m. The lock was cut.

A 55-year-old man was booked into the main jail from the 400 block of Lytton Ave. for an outside warrant.

A commerical burglary was reported on the 1900 block of Louis Ave. at 12:30 a.m.

A bicycle was reported stolen from the 4100 block of El Camino Real at about 4:30 p.m.

A hit-and-run accident occured on Page Mill Road at about 5:45 p.m.

Police responded to a domestic violence call on Clark Way at about 10:30 p.m.

A 47-year-old man was cited for public drinking on the 400 block of Lytton Ave. at about 6 p.m.
